We offer the following for eating disorders:

  • We offer the longest running, most seasoned, state of the art Intensive Outpatient Program in San Diego.

  • We are the first treatment center to offer Brain Training as the primary treatment modality for eating disorders.

  • We have treated many patients who have been unsuccessful in other treatment centers and the main region that drives the eating disorder is the dysregulated brain. The Neurofeedback directly corrects the brain wave patterns and interrupts the cycles of anxiety that perpetuate the symptoms. We have experienced tremendous success with some of our most challenging persons.

Our outpatient program is individually tailored for you and will include the following:

    • 3 sessions a week for Neurofeedback
    • Weekly Group Therapy on Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
    • 1 or two individual psychotherapy sessions per week
    • 1 individual session with a Dietitian for the first 3 months of treatment (if we think that is needed)
    • 1 DBT Skills group Thursdays from 4 to 5:15 p.m. (DBT focuses on the following Mindfulness/Interpersonal Effectiveness/Emotional Regulation/Distress Tolerance)

  • Comprehensive Aftercare Program for an Eating Disorder once a person leaves treatment from any of our programs. The aftercare would consist of weekly group therapy, Neurofeedback, individual therapy and family therapy if recommended and needed. We work closely with Dietitians and MD's who support our philosophy.
